Kenyan President William Ruto to Inaugurate Zimbabwe Trade Fair 2024

The 64th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) is set to take place from April 23-27, showcasing Zimbabwe's potential as a trade and investment destination. Under the theme "Innovation: The Catalyst for Industrialisation and Trade," the event will feature 466 direct exhibitors, with 25 international exhibitors from 21 countries confirming their participation. The ZITF is an integral platform for fostering economic partnerships, promoting entrepreneurship, and driving sustainable progress across various sectors.

Key Highlights of the ZITF:

The ZITF will kick off with the ZITF Welcome Cocktail, followed by the ZITF International Business Conference on April 24, officially opened by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga. The event will also feature the ZITF Diplomats Forum and the Connect Africa Symposium, which will explore avenues for economic partnerships and sustainable progress through entrepreneurship. The official opening ceremony and the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) Business Luncheon are scheduled for April 26, attracting key stakeholders from the business community.

International Participation and Sector Representation:

With 25 international exhibitors from countries such as China, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Africa, and Japan, the ZITF demonstrates its global appeal and creates opportunities for international trade and collaboration. The exhibition will span various sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, technology, tourism, and more. Participants will showcase innovative products, services, and solutions, highlighting advancements in their respective industries.

Additional Events and Forums:

In parallel with the trade showcase, the ZITF will host the ZITF Innovators Forum, a two-day event that aims to nurture and support young innovators and entrepreneurs across Africa.
