In the area of cybersecurity, Liquid has partnered with Sophos, a British security software and hardware company, to provide firewall solutions that can secure customers' Wi-Fi networks from hacking. Mutasa emphasized that Liquid is not only focused on providing internet connectivity but also ensuring the security of customers' communications within their networks.
To address the human factor in cybersecurity, Liquid has implemented a program to train customers' users on cybersecurity risks on a monthly basis, recognizing that many security breaches are due to human error.
Lorreta Songola, Liquid's Regional Chief Commercial Officer for Central Africa, highlighted the company's extensive presence across the continent, with operations in more than 25 countries. In Zimbabwe, Liquid is the largest independent network provider, with a fiber broadband network covering over 110,000 km, of which 26,000 km is in the country.
