ZB Launches Digital Transformation Innovation Hub

Zimbabwe Financial Holding (ZBFH) has created an innovation hub to drive the group's digital transformation journey. This hub will help the group develop solutions that address customer pain points and engineer brands for success.

The hub was officially launched last Friday by Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science, and Technology Development, Professor Amon Murwira.

Professor Murwira noted that a nation's success depends on the knowledge and skills of its people.

“If a country lacks food, it means it lacks the necessary skills and knowledge to produce enough food. Once we identify this gap, we can develop the skills and knowledge required to improve food production”.

Innovation is the driving force behind the production of goods and services, so what ZB has done is revolutionary," said the Minister

To fight poverty, we need to prioritize education and make it a driving force for technological advancement," the Minister said. "This will allow us to produce everything we need.

Innovation is a vital part of development and can't be overstated. This aligns with the government's heritage-based education 5.0 initiative, which focuses on problem-solving and value creation

Mr. Fungura, the CEO of ZBFH, said that the innovation hub will create valuable partnerships that will benefit the future. He also noted that the world is changing rapidly, making it crucial to embrace innovation and change. In addition, he said the Hub will 'drive the ideation, experimentation, prototyping, and commercialization of new products and services.
